I'm on a quest, or my good lady thinks I am, we have certain items to get to day, so I have to travel about, so not much time to get a blog in, well it's Saturday no real work to do other than the quest.
Did you see Jon Pickups Archoncad news letter, mine came yesterday, stocked, and I mean stocked with great movies, some I have seen before, but a couple of new ones, so I followed the list, it's almost like a lesson plan. One thing I would like to see though is the demarcation between the different types of Vectorworks, I have Architect, but I know Jon uses designer, which has more options, the point, I don't have solar animation, only on Designer. Still at least and hour of high quality CPD, it's not all Vectorworks, there are some excellent Technologist, items there from drawing, mass modelling, and more. The videos are hidden behind Jon's pay wall, so you have to be a member, but, it's so worth it.
I have been looking at some pretty cool web sites recently re the weather, I am particularly interested in the Atlantic re my immanent crossing, and it is looking good, today's photo is the forecast for the Atlantic and from what I understand if the captain takes the right route, we are in for an easy passage to New York, I'll have a word !!.
I have been pulling in more slides to my Evernote, “The paperless office” presentation that I will be giving on the 29th Jan 2013, I do hope you can attend, if not I have every intension of streaming it via a google hangout and then onto YouTube. Lots of techniques and methods to share, on saving to Evernote, and I might add, using the information, getting it out, and using it. I plan on doing a test hangout today at 1300 hrs UK time, so if your about look me up, on google+ stevescaysbrook.
That's it for today, I am off on my quest, well it might end up in the Drum for a well earned pint of bitter, after the hangout, who knows, well I do :-))
